SOFTBALL PLAYERS WANTED


The Winter 2012 Season starts the week of February 13, 2012

 

The Henderson Sports Group “Senior Softball” program is unique from other softball leagues in that we accept individual player sign-ups. We are going to be starting two new leagues- Men's 60+ and Women's 40+.  Players wanted for All Leagues.

  

We offer Men’s Leagues in ages 40+ 50+ 55+ and 60+

Women’s League 40+

Co-Ed League:  Women 25+  Men 35+

Games are played at Anthem and at Russell Rd/Boulder Hwy Complex

Men’s 40+ plays at Anthem and at Russell/Boulder Complex on Wednesday night

Second Men’s 40+ plays at Anthem on Saturday morning

Men’s 50+ plays at Anthem on Monday/Tuesday nights

Men’s 55+ plays at Anthem on Thursday night

Men’s 60+ plays at Anthem on Sunday morning

Women’s 40+ plays at Anthem on Monday night

Co-Ed plays at Anthem on Tuesday night

We have Leagues in all 4 Seasons

A Season is 7 weeks of double-headers + Tournament

League fees are $60.00 per season

Saturday & Sunday Day Leagues are $50.00

Shirt, Umpires (NSA), Softballs and Fields are included in your fee

If your birthday falls in 2012 for the League you are interested in, you are eligible to join that League. Ex: You want to join the 50+ League but will not turn 50 until August, you can sign-up for that 50+ League


Entire Teams are welcome to join our program in any League.  Entire teams will be on a probation status.  We are a “D” level League.  Tournament level teams need not apply.

We are competitive program, but more importantly, a fun League
 
Oue Next Season starts Feb 2012

We currently offer leagues on Monday/Tuesday nights(Men over 50 league), Tuesday nights(Coed), Wednesday nights(Men over 40), Thursday nights(Men over 55) and Saturday mornings(Men 40 and up).

Our league is unique in that you do not have to be part of a team to enter the league.  You sign up as an individual, attend the draft night for the league you have signed up for and you are then assigned to a team.  Our draft nights are a friendly affair and if you have paid, you will be placed on a team.  Be dressed and ready to field and hit a bit on your draft night.  This makes our league(s) an ideal place to meet new friends and get on a softball team without having to find an entire team to join with.  On occassion(as openings permit), we do accept full teams into the league.  If you are interested in bringing a team into the league, please click on the Contact us to Join button on the website menu above and let us know of your interest in the comment section of the contact form.
